We have both our dogs covered with…

We have both our dogs covered with Healthy Paws and have been consistently more than satisfied with them. Most recently, our 3.5 year old dog needed an emergency root canal and, it turned out once the dentist go started, other dental work. It was very expensive, and after consulting our policy to see if we were covered, decided we thought we were. Submitting claims with Healthy Paw is ridiculously easy, and I'm very happy to say that they stood by their word and policy and came through for us big time. It's a huge relief to know this company is there for us.

Everything about the policy and customer service has exceeded my expectations!

Other than getting Gus in the first place last summer, purchasing the policy for him with Health Paws Pet Insurance was the best decision I've made as a pet owner. The ease of filing claims and the speed by which they respond is exceptional. We're so pleased that we chose this company!

1 claim paid back years of monthly contributions

My dog is 5 and has been healthy ever since we've got him. Last month, out of a sudden, he couldn't walk anymore. He was rushed to a hospital where they diagnosed him with a disc inflammation that required an intervention (surgery). The cost of the procedure was over $5,000. Thanks to my Healthy Paws insurance, my refund was higher than the entire 5 years I paid for this policy. I can't imagine anyone owning an uninsured pet.

Humans Should Have This Kind Of Coverage!

I've had 2 cats covered with Healthy Paws for 5 years now. I'm jealous of the kind of coverage that my cats have, and wish that I could get the same kind of healthcare for myself in America. They've NEVER failed to pay exactly what my plan says they're supposed to pay. I've racked up some exorbitant bills over the years, and Healthy Paws have been a life saver.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
