Unexpected Surgery

Our 4 year old dog required surgery for bladder stones, after a trip to the doggy ER for a urinary tract infection. Healthy Paws customer service representatives worked with us every step of the way and processed our claims quickly and efficiently. The money was deposited into our account within 2-3 days. We cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws, and we highly recommend them for all your pet needs.

Phenomenal customer service

Our dog required emergency care for a urinary tract infection. Then we discovered she had bladder stones which required surgical intervention and several follow up visits. Healthy Paws customer service representatives were genuinely concerned for her well being and walked us through the entire claims process. They processed our claims quickly and the money was directly deposited into our bank account within 2-3 days.

Healthy Paws is always there for Bruno

Bruno has been a client of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for 6 years. When I needed to submit a claim the Healthy Paws Team always responded in 1 to 2 days. Reimbursement was made in 3- 10 businesses days. Recently Bruno had surgery and the Healthy Paws Team inquired how he was doing. He had made a full recovery and was back playing ball and enjoying his log walks. Healthy Paws is always there for Bruno.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
