Great company

Great company! Reasonable prices. Easy to use app and quick response! I did some research before choosing them. They got good customer reviews, and now I know why! Recently, my puppy got very sick and ran up some big vet bills. Even though I'm pretty techno challenged their app made it extremely easy to submit the claim. And I had the reimbursement check in less than a week! Highly recommend them!

Thanks to this insurance Leo can have quality care

I got Leo almost 5 years ago and thought that pet insurance was probably never going to be needed but felt better to have. Well, 4.5 years later and here I am able to give Leo the best possible care he can have without any worries about finances! He's at the specialists as we speak getting an ultrasound and specialized bloodwork to try to investigate what's going on with him and it feels amazing that seeking the care he needs doesn't put my family I financial hardships.

Price Gouging

2016 - $34.99 2017 - $39.59 2018 - $46.42 2019 - $55.46 35% INCREASE 2020 - $75.42 36% INCREASE 2021 - $102.57 193% INCREASE in total The excuse given every time: New technology, advancements in veterinary treatments, and overall claim costs are taken into consideration when assessing our rates. Premiums are determined based on the rates and rating rules filed and approved within each state’s Department of Insurance. _______________________________________________ 35% increase 2 years in a row now and without even having a sick pet. Age increase yes, but again, at 35%+ and increasing every year, it will be hundreds.

Makes a tough time a little easier

Recently, our pup Daisy needed to visit the emergency vet for a possible obstruction. We'd been through this twice before, so we were prepared for potential surgery. Thankfully, some re-hydration and an overnight stay did the trick. She emerged from the hospital none the worse for the wear. I submitted my claim to Healthy Paws through an easy drag and drop--it was that easy. We had an email in a few days and a check in hand a few days after that. It was great not to have to worry about the expense and to focus on getting our girl back on her feet!
