Peace of mind

We've had pet insurance through healthy paws for about a year and a half now. Unfortunately our dane has had quite a few eye issues (scrolled cartilage, cherry eye, entropion, and several ulcers), requiring 3 different surgeries. Each time, the claims process was super quick and easy and Healthy Paws approved the claim in a timely manner. They give us peace of mind that we can do what's in Lola's best interest without having to worry about the cost. Definitely recommend!

WARNING Do not use this insurance it is…

WARNING Do not use this insurance it is a scam! They will drag you through the mud for months and their customer service reps will soften you up by assuring your claim is being handled, it won’t be handled and won’t be covered! What an awful experience, go with Figo or Embrace instead.

Best Decision I ever made

My dog tore his hind ACL twice in the last 5 years, and on both times Healthy Paws have provided impeccable customer service and claims processing. I would have never been able to afford the surgeries if not for my excellent coverage. Can't recommend them enough!

Good experience

My pup tore his cruciate ligament and had to have surgery and rehab. Healthy Paws has been very responsive and quick with all the claims that I have submitted. They covered exactly what was stated in the policy. I have had no issues with the many claims that I submitted from this incident. I have been very pleased with their response and coverage.

Excellent Insurance Company

We have had Healthy Paws Insurance since our dog was 6 years old. He is now 13. They have always been there for us, prompt payments, great customer service, and fair pricing.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
