Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our 2 years old Dane recently bloated and we rushed him to the ER. Turned out he had GDV and a congested spleen. It was the scariest 4 days of my life and even though we’d go broke to save him, it was comforting to know our insurance would be there to support us. After having his stomach tacked, spleen removed, aspirating, and having cardiac issues as a complication, I was a wreck. Our 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier (Buddy) came down with acute Peritonitis. It came on suddenly and he was extremely sick. He had to spend two nights in the hospital Iv’s, meds, etc. Two weeks later he had another episode not as sever. Healthy Paws claims process is so easy all we had to do is email the itemized invoice from the provider to Healthy Paws Claims that was it. We received emails to confirm they received our claim and were issued a claim number. They informed us of each stage of claim process. The bottom line is within 7 working days we received over $4,000.00 in reimbursements. In addition, they sent out letters to check on buddy’s progress so we give them 5 Stars!
