They WILL RAISE your premium

We thought Healthy Paws was a great insurance because our claims get approved quickly and AT FIRST it was very affordable but going on our 3rd year now they have increased our premium $100 the second year and now $60 this third year. We started paying $58 a month and now we will need to pay $200. In the middle of a pandemic, how do they expect people to afford this? I assume it’s because of the amount of claims we have filed for our dog yet their policy CLEARLY states they don’t raise premiums for filing claims. I am enraged that I have to pay more in premiums for my dog than I do for myself and that this company thinks it’s okay to triple your premium in 2 years.

Highly Recommend Healthy Paws!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws. I pay roughly $44/month for a plan that includes a $250 annual deductible and 90% coverage after that for emergencies and illnesses, excluding the office visit fee. It was the most reasonable monthly premium I could find. Their website is very easy to use. Simply drag and drop the invoice, and claims are usually processed within 1 business day, with a breakdown of what was and wasn't covered. When my pup severely cut her leg, knowing I had this financial support allowed me to focus on quickly getting her the late-at-night emergency care she needed. Staff are very responsive and empathetic, and even followed up to see how my pup was recovering.

Difficult to be reimbursed.

My Skeeter died in December 2020 and I'm still fighting for reimbursement in March 2021.

Healthy Paws is the best!

Our 2 year old French Bulldog, Lucy, has had a tough 2020-2021 Winter, - hospitalized for aspiration pneumonia, then brachycephalic surgery and an endoscopy. It's been very nerve-wracking and worrisome for us as her owners! Fortunately we have her covered by Healthy Paws and so the financial aspect of the mounting veterinary bills was one thing we did not have to worry about. I can't say enough good things about Healthy Paws!! Their website is very easy to navigate and claims are processed efficiently and checks sent quickly. I have complete confidence in Healthy Paws and highly recommend them to any pet owner!
