Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I rescued a very sweet puppy and luckily signed up for healthy paws the day he came home. This is my first experience with any kind of pet insurance. When he was around 1.5 years old, I noticed some mobility issues and that he was having some pain. We did all the vet visits and he was unfortunately diagnosed with multiple issues including severe hip dysplasia and a luxating patella. He has now had 2 major surgeries (hip replacement and CCL repair/patella) and they were both covered. Both completed before he turned 4! You really never know what kind of health problems your dog may inherit. Healthy paws really makes it easy to get the care needed and it’s a painless process. I am so happy with this insurance and wish I would have had it for all my previous pets. I love knowing that I can get him the ABSOLUTE best care available to us. For reference, his hip replacement was over 8k USD. I will always use healthy paws for any pets in the future.

Excellent pet insurance! Monthly cost is very reasonable. Claims are reviewed as soon as submitted and it takes only a few days to get a reimbursement. Customer service is fantastic- any question is answered immediately in a carring manner. Couldn't be happier with Healthypaws!!!

We adopted our first pet during the COVID-19 pandemic, as so many others did. We were so eager to add a new member to our family. After we adopted Nala, we were at the vet twice in one week (once for an infected spay spot and a second time for a UTI from transport). As new pet parents, we were fully aware of the financial responsibility but didn't expect it so quickly. Something in our gut said that we should get her pet insurance. In less than a year, we have seen two vet specialists as quickly after she settled into her new home, she became very sick. The comfort of having pet insurance with Healthy Paws allowed us to be able to give her the best care, where we found out she was born with a mild heart defect and is currently in testing for IBD. With the ease and sense of security that Healthy Paws gives us helps us know every time we take her to the vet, we are both taken care of. Without the insurance, I fear that our lives would look completely different than they are now.
