Incredible Customer Service & Easy Claim

Okay so our dog Winnie has Fractured Coronoid Process in her joints (common in pure-breeds which she isn't). The procedure was ~$7k. We thought we were screwed. HealthyPaws Customer Service supported us the whole way. They provided Direct Pay so we only had to pay our deductible rather and got back to us in less than 2 days. They don't cover everything which is a huge bummer. For example, they won't cover the $200 consultation fee to tell us that Winnie had FCP.

We love having the Exceptional insurance coverage available when we need it.

Esse will be 12 in July. She has been our girl for almost 10 years. We purchased pet insurance when we got her because, being a dachshund, we were afraid of back issues occurring when she got older. That has not yet occurred however, she has been hospitalized three times for totally unexpected conditions. Healthy Paws has been there for us covering all of her illnesses and injuries with a 90% benefit. They are a blessing to our family.

Thank you HealthyPaws!

As a disabled veteran with a service dog and part of a WorkingDogsForVets service dog organization, I’ve seen other service dog owners dealing with unexpected veterinary bills for their best friend. I decided to go ahead and get her Insured for less than he cost of a cellular plan. And I’m glad I did! One day she started walking funny. Worried and afraid, I took her into the veterinarian. X-rays revealed she had torn her cruciate ligament and dislocated her knee. Her best option was to have a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) and a luxating platella repair. Not only are they amazing and kind on the phone, but within 10 days I had been reimbursed! Make sure you have your dogs health records, including doctors notes submitted before you actually need them.

Healthy Paws really helped a stressful situation be more manageable.

My Bengal cat was suddenly in pain and had a difficult time walking. After an examination with a local vet it was recommended he see an orthopedic surgeon. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic my cat had to wait a month before he could see a surgeon. It was determined he needed MPL & FHO surgeries on his left side. These surgeries were not affordable and the vet & surgery bills exceeded over $6K. Had I not had a policy with Healthy Paws I would be responsible for all this debt. Submitting the invoices and medical records through the site was easy and Healthy Paws quickly sent me the funds without any issues which really helped ease the stress of caring for my kitty after his surgeries. I highly recommend any pet parent get a policy with Healthy Paws Insurance. You never know when your fur babies will need help.
