Best insurance!

I have had nothing but the best experiences with this company. I’ve never had any issues with the claims that I have submitted. Recently my dog had to have a mast cell tumor removed. I submitted the paperwork and two days later I already had the money deposited into my account. And then I received a follow up email just asking how my dog is doing which I thought was extremely thoughtful. Overall great customer service.

Healthy Paws took care of us while we took care of Zeus

Zeus our family cat had a rough Nov and Dec 21. A couple of major operations and some maintenance follow-ups had the whole family worried beyond words. Thankfully, its now six months later and Zeus is once again back to his lovable self thanks to the medical care he received and the help we got from Healthy Paws. Often, he chases his brother cat from the outside Catio across the couch and up the stairs and he looks like a cheetah the way he bounds, and bounds is the right word because he looks exactly like a cheetah mid-stride! He makes us happy every day and we thank healthy paws for being there when we needed them.

Pet Surgery

My dog had surgery for intestinal cancer. I submitted the claim and within one week Healthy Paws agreed to reimburse me for the procedure.

Healthy Paws has done nothing for me except steal my money every month, for two dogs, for over four years. In four years I have put in 6 claims, and I have received nothing! My claims have been denied each and every time. Every time I put in a claim they have some new song and dance as to why I was denied. As I type this I am on hold… canceling my two dogs insurance. I am going with another Insurance company, as this one only takes from me!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
