Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have been a customer for over six years and did not have any problems with submitting claims. That is until this year when I had to submit a claim for surgery for my port to fix his ccl. All of a sudden the claim was denied and excuses were made saying documentation does not exist and were missing even though the vet had sent them multiple times. It has been over three months and I still have to resubmit the same documents. Unacceptable response from them.

The folks and service at Healthy Paws go above and beyond to make sure your fur baby is well taken care of. From being very clear about what vet visits, prescribed meds, surgeries, to even alternative care options are covered to their team reaching out post surgery just to see how my dog is doing. I am so grateful to have found this company and couldn't recommend them enough.

Healthy paws covered 90 percent of everything pre and post operations, all her medicine as well as taking care of all our claims in a timely matter without any issues or asking for further information. Chloe's procedures cost over 15K and Health Paws didn't hesitate in processing her claims. Our dog Chloe started with mild cataracts at age 4 1/2 and this turned quickly into severe glaucoma by age 5 1/2. She ended up with numerous procedures, one was to remove the eye that she was blind in as well as suffering in pain from the severe eye pressure, she had to undergo multiple procedures to save her remaining eye with numerous Emergency visits to drain her eye to relive the pressure and inevitably had a shunt placed in her eye but this also didn't work and she ultimately had to have her other eye removed. Chloe is doing great she still has her spirit plays and navigates the house like she can still see and is no longer in pain. Healthy paws is awsome and I'm glad I originally made the right choice.
