Absolutely Amazing Customer Experience

I can't imagine what I would have done without Healthy Paws. With the worst luck ever, I've had two dogs require surgery within a month of each other. One was very critical with only 6 locations nationwide performing the surgery. I submitted the bill the morning I picked up my dog and had the fund THE NEXY DAY. Astounding service. I can't imagine not having Healthy Paws and highly recommend them. Claim process is very easy and fast. And the employees are all wonderful!

Peace of Mind

Our dog, Molly, has been insured with Healthy Paws for a few years now. A healthy dog for 6 years, Molly suddenly went blind from SARDS and was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. That same year, she required abdominal surgery for foreign body removal. Healthy Paws pet insurance took away a lot of stress during several difficult times this past year. They are communicative and our claims are always resolved in a timely manner. We are thankful to be their clients.

Furry family member died, still getting billed

My furry family member died on May 10th, 2022. I’ve contacted Healthy Paws 6 times since then as they continue to bill me. On Monday of this week, I was told that all charges would be reversed and my policy canceled. Then boom, got billed again… and was told my bill will go up in December. So each time this happens, it opens wounds of losing my family member. It is an unacceptable experience.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
