Highly Recommended Pet Insurance

I originally purchased pet insurance based on concerns in future for hip dysplasia. Unfortunately, we've had some medical and dental issues with our dog. Healthy Paws Insurance not only provides us with how to care for our pets, a blog with other owners, but an ease in dealing with expenses. The process is easy, efficient and very timely! We just got another one - puppy, and she's signed up as well. Thank you for caring about our fur babies!

I have this insurance for 6 years

I have this insurance for 6 years. Now that my pet is 12, he has cancer and for the first time I need to use it, I could not be more disappointed! Every time I submit a claim, I attached the medical records. And EVERY single week I receive a message saying that the medical records are missing. I have to call, they say they can see it, that they will merge the information and NOTHING. For the past 4 weeks that has been my life. Call and wait for help. I don't know what else to do. I’m updating my review because of the response below. Healthy Pet Paws is making it look like they need medical records and I didn’t submit it. So let me be MORE clear. Every single time I send an invoice (October 5, November 3rd and November 8) I attached full medical records. And every single time I received the same message: we are missing information. Then I call, the person tells me she can see that indeed I attached the medical records. And that now everything is okay. For 4 weeks I’ve been attaching everything and still receiving messages and having to call. Yesterday was the 4th time and someone said there was a mistake in the system (they said it for the 3 time) and it was now fixed. So I already told one on my friends yesterday looking for insurance to not enroll with you. And one day I will have another pet and I won’t use your services. I’m a business owner. The LEAST you could is apologize for your mistake. We must own up to them. I know I will receive my reimbursements because it’s all under my policy. But it makes not sense to Submit information and still keep receiving messages that the document is missing and have to call so your team Can see it’s all there!

Best Pet Insurance Company

I used two other pet insurance companies (both for cats) before settling on Healthy Paws for our new cat, and I would not use either of them again after having Healthy Paws for several years. Healthy Paws does require that you pay the vet bill up front, then submit the claim with all the required information and payment receipt, but Healthy Paws has always processed my claims promptly, and within the rules of the policy. Over my several years of using Healthy Paws, I’ve had to call customer service two or three times to get clarification on something, and the rep was always easy to understand, knowledgeable, polite, and professional. I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws for your pet insurance provider.

The best pet insurance

Easy to make claims and prompt support and processing. They stayed true to their word and honored all major claims unlike some other insurers that I’ve used in the past who used various excises to duck out. Great company and I hope they stay that way!

Easy experience

My dog Bodhi is doing great post op. He had a phenomenal surgeon and is getting excellent rehab care. Having the Healthy Paws policy cover the majority of the expenses really took the stress of the financial burden down, allowing the focus to be on his recovery. Easy interface and reimbursement in time to pay off the charge to my credit card.
