Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is excellent. After an unfortunate event, our dog, Pax had to have an extensive medical procedure and numerous labs/X-rays done, an overnight stay at the Animal Emergency hospital, and many other life-saving steps I never anticipated. I submitted all invoices/claims to Healthy Paws via an app on my phone, and Healthy Paws sent direct deposit reimbursements within two days. In addition, the Healthy Paws team emailed me to check on Pax. I never anticipated that. Thank you, Healthy Paws! Silvana

Had my pet insurance with this company for 3 years. Somewhere they went sour. They do not keep your pet's medical records and when it's time for a claim they request all medical records. Stay away from this Company. Waited 40 minutes for a supervisor to pick up, supervisor however never picked up. They do not care enough for pet parents , shows you how they care about your pet. They have a great story when they answer the phone.

I've never had any issues. Keep in mind this is my first time getting insurance on any dog I've had in the past (so nothing to compare it to). I'm so thankful I enrolled our pitty Stella. She's about 5 now and has had a major scare and a few other hicups over the years. Last year she became quickly and seriously ill, stumping ER vets and was hospitalized. I was told along the way by one ER doctor that I should seriously consider not pursuing the hospitalization and treatment because of the poor prognosis....financial and emotional expenses. Without this coverage I dont know what we practically would have done. I made a stop home with Stella before taking her to be hospitalized... for our 3yo daughter in case it was the last time they'd see one another. We werent sure if days left or weeks. Without this coverage I'm unsure how things would have played out. After about 6 months of treatment (20-25K)...Stella defied all odds and is still doing her thing! Never had any issues with coverage. Fast processes and status updates. Great expereince across the board

Our 2-year-old Cavachon hurt her left back leg. Unfortunately, she had to have TPLO surgery. Thankfully we have had Healthy Paws insurance coverage on her since she was a puppy. This was an unexpected injury, as well as expensive. Our policy has an annual 250.00 deductible, with an 80% reimbursement level. The surgery totaled 5364.00. After our annual 250.00 deductibles and, our 20% responsibility, we received a direct deposit reimbursement of 4041.44 from Healthy Paws within 4 days. I'm so thankful for Healthy Paws being recommended by my sister. I will always have Healthy Paws coverage on my fur babies.
