Have had HP for several years but was never happier to have them than when one of my dogs was diagnosed with cancer this year. Don’t buy insurance, pay out of pocket
We paid their steep monthly premiums for years and when our German Shepard needed treatment for an ear infection, they refused to reimburse us.
*update: they claim I never sent them the necessary records to process our claim. I sent them the records we have for our dog and explained that we adopted her and there are no records beyond that. They basically have a de facto policy of being able to deny all claims to adopted dogs, but will not actually say that, and they won’t make these policies clear until you’ve paid them lots of premiums over the years.
Save your money- don’t buy pet insurance, just be prepared to pay out of pocket.
one day i should go to istanbul, turkiye, for doing some business. But, problems coming on the next. So, i should living in istanbul 2 months for solve the problem in our business. We have 3 pets at home, and i think this is accident because we are never estimate there are problem in istanbul. at the end, our pets sick and death. after comeback from istanbul,Turkiye, we make report To Healthy Paws Pet Insurance & Foundation Office. We are descibe how our pets, sick and death because our business problem happened. So, from that office, after 3 days, give some good news, give us 3 pets more sweety and clean, health, nice sweety.

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*

Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
