Awesome experience with Healthy Paws

My dog, Sasha, recently had a hernia repair. Heathy Paws was very quick to issue a reimbursement check for the surgical costs. I even got a call from a Healthy Pet Insurance rep to see how Sasha was recovering after her surgery. That is a lot more than my own health insurance does! I highly recommend Healthy Paws. Fabulous customer service.

Amazing insurance

I have had healthy paws for almost 6 years. They are the BEST pet insurance! There's no other insurance I would use! They are so quick and efficient! My poor baby was sick recently ($2600 bill) and within a couple days I had my money back direct deposited!! And when. One of my dogs passed away I received a card from healthy paws from people actually signing it! It was so touching and their customer service is amazing ! And they give the best price out of all the other pet insurances!! Thank you healthy paws !!

Quick responses and reimbursements

HealthyPaws has covered a range of issues over the years from a surgery to giardia, bloodwork, and some joint supplements. Filing a claim just takes a moment and they are prompt with payment. I recommend at least considering them if you are shopping around for pet insurance.

HealthyPaws should be considered seriously if you are shopping for insurance for your pet. They have covered everything from vet recommended joint supplements to surgery. They have reimbursed for costs very quickly and hassle free.

Highly recommend Healthy Paws

Healthy Paws processed our latest claim quickly, and sent a very thorough explanation of benefits. They worked directly with our vet to get all of the necessary supporting documentation, and we were extremely satisfied at the resolution. They even checked up on how our dog was doing a few weeks later, which was a nice added bonus to feel appreciated.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
