Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I highly recommend Healthy Paws for your pets. I would never go without it. The rates are reasonable and they pay within days of claim submission. I've used a few times over the years but most recently, my Dixie had to have 4 mast cell tumors removed with 2 surgeries, lots of imaging & tests, 2 night hospital stay each surgery to the tune of $14K. Claims were submitted and I had the money in my account in 2 days of discharge. Healthy Paws even reached out to me to see how my girl was doing. I can honestly say that Dixie is doing well and that is largely in part to Healthy Paws allowing us to get her the best treatment possible. They helped save her life.

HealthyPaws has been communicative and processed our pup’s claim quickly and efficiently. I am very satisfied with the customer service and the insurance plan I chose. Their explanation of benefits is clear and concise. The payment is received in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

I used another pet insurance company with previous pets, but found the reimbursement process to be slow, very complicated, and with a very low reimbursement rate. I almost didn’t get insurance for our new puppy because of that experience, but decided to give Healthy Paws a try. I’ve had Healthy Paws for a little over a year and have been so fortunate to have my dog covered by them. I was skeptical they would really be that straightforward about what they reimburse and at what rate, but it has actually been the case. It’s been a godsend. I needed to call Customer Service one time for clarification on something and I found them to very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Healthy Paws has been awesome. We've had a lot of healthcare expenses for my girl this year and for the first time really needed the help. They've been very easy to work with and I appreciate the occasional check-ins. I'm so thankful for them.
