Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We've had Healthy Paws since we got TJ as a rescue and they've been simply fantastic. Unfortunately we've had to use their services far too often for TJ but each time their online claim service was super easy and efficient. I've set my payment option for direct deposit to my checking account and usually within three days of claim submission the payment is in my account. As with any pet insurance policy the rates do go up every year but I feel their annual monthly premium increase is quite reasonable and they never raise your rate other than the normal annual policy rate increase no matter how many claims you submit in my experience. The few times that I've needed to contact them by phone they've always been very efficient and helpful in resolving my issue. When originally shopping for pet insurance they had the best rates and coverage. They get ten stars in my opinion.

Our Izzey has Healthy Paws and I am ver pleased. Unfortunately this year has not been a good one for Izzey. In October she tore her ACL on her right leg. She did very well and Healthy Paw accepted our bill and paid 70% of her surgery. The customer service was wonderful. At the time Izzey’s doctor said she would probably need surgery on her other leg. Healthy Paws again covered the expenses. They also wrote a “Get Well” note to Izzey and asked how she was doing.They were great and I am glad we have this insurance.

Couldn’t be more happy with our experience with Healthy Paws. My 9 mos. old pup went in to be neutered and when they attempted to incubate him the tube would not go down his throat. They attempted a second time with a smaller tube, and it would not go down, a third time with an even smaller tube also unsuccessful. My vet noted bleeding everted laryngeal saccules and recommended us to a specialist. After the surgeon consult, Tater Tot needed surgery for a pretty indebt procedure requiring an overnight stay. The bill was over $8500 and unplanned or budgeted for so when Healthy Paws contributed to the bill we were elated! Tater Tot was a vibrate, healthy happy puppy until this issue and we cannot express how thankful we are and that Tater Tot will live a full, happy and healthy life- thank you Healthy Paws!! Tater Tot’s Mom
