Efficient, expeditious and easy

I filed a claim on Sunday morning and it was settled within 72 hours. The process is very simple- essentially log in, upload the medical procedures summary and submit. I was so relieved that it wasn’t a paperwork headache or a phone tree disaster- I couldn’t have handled that in addition to the stress of having such a sick little dog. So efficient- I wish all insurance providers operated this way.

Healthy Paws Loyalist

I signed my dog up with Healthy Paws shortly after adopting him, when a vet mentioned that as he aged he could develop a certain joint condition, just to be safe. Thankfully that condition never transpired, but last year we did encounter some other scary health issues, which involved several emergency trips to our general vet and a specialist, and a whole battery of meds that he'll need for the rest of his days. Healthy Paws has been fantastic with responding to claims quickly and explaining why certain items are and aren't covered. I so appreciate the comfort of not having to worry about affording my dog the best care at the drop of a hat and am very grateful that we joined Healthy Paws years ago. All of my future pets will also be insured by Healthy Paws.

Excellent coverage, pricing and claims process

I've been with Healthy Paws for approximately 5 years for one dog. Recently added a second dog. Pricing and coverage is excellent and affords us peace of mind. I've had to file a few claims and I am very much impressed with the claims process. It is extremely efficient and easy. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws — Peace of mind!

Healthy Paws has insured our dog Ruby for over 4 years. We were certainly glad to have the coverage when we found out that Ruby had suffered trauma to a tooth and it had to be removed. The claim was processed quickly and exactly to the terms of her coverage. So glad we choose Healthy Paws to cover our pup! Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
