Surprisingly in a world where insurance companies try not to pay out, Healthy Paws paid every penny due to us in a timely manner. The process online is simple to submit a claim and you can check the status online too. We got our checks within a month of submitting our claims. Very easy to work with and great service.

Having had a four-legged family member years ago that needed extensive veterinary care, I vowed that I would not make myself agonize over the cost of medical care and the health of my pet. Upon adopting a new furry baby, I did my homework and found Healthy Paws to be the most extensive care I could provide. Hoping I would never have to use it, it was comforting just to know that I was purchasing "piece of mind." Just like we humans do, my little guy came down with several minor ailments (ear infections, sprained ankle, fox-tail in the paw, etc) which were all covered per the outlined details in the contract. Recently, my little guy was in need of an extensive surgery for (what equates to a human torn ACL - no Pop Warner football for him next year) a TPLO. Before he could even recover enough to jump all over me again, I received my reimbursement check with well wishes from Healthy Paws! I have been nothing but impressed with their services and I will continue to recommend them to others who plan on extending their families to include four-legged children. Oh! My boyfriend is even jealous that the dog is not only loved more, but he has better health care than him as well!

Healthpaws has been available on the phone to answer my questions in a time of crisis. They have followed up with emails to check on my pet. They also reimbursed me very quickly which was so helpful as not to be in a bind when the credit card bills came through. It was amazing to experience the healthypaws team service and know that I can count on them. Thanks again!

I have had my two canine fur babies, a Newfoundland and a Pyrenees mix, both rescues, with Healthy Paws for about five years and I trust this company completely. Not once have I felt frustrated or that a claim wasn't handled properly. They cover exactly what they say they will and process claims quickly and without a fuss. They even make it easy to file a claim online. This particular aspect becomes valuable when you're feeling very sad after finding out about a serious diagnosis and paying a very large vet bill. We paid $6,000 for specialist vets and lots of testing, and were elated to find out how much they covered! Checks were mailed by Healthy Paws within two weeks. If you call in, you will be very impressed with how incredibly compassionate and helpful their customer service staff members are as well. They're obviously pet owners! If you don't have any pet insurance, this is the company to sign up with as soon as you bring your pet home.
