I’m so glad I did my research. Healthy Paws has never denied a single claim, including my most recent bill of $2,400. Had I not purchased a policy, my dog would not have been able to get her knee surgery she needed to walk after an injury. A couple associates of mine purchased policies from other pet insurance companies and both dealt with denied claims for ridiculous reasons. Healthy Paws has an easy to use app and even directly deposits the money into my account. They work with my vet to get the documents they need and I truly can’t say enough good about them. I wish my health insurance was as good as my pups!

I have had Healthy Paws insurance for about 3 years, after an unsatisfactory stint with another insurer. They have been AWESOME in all respects. The cost of Bailey's care has risen substantially in the last 6 months, due to diabetes, followed by cataracts, which rendered him blind. I'm happy to say that he had surgery 2 weeks ago, and his sight has been restored. Healthy Paws never questioned a claim, and the reimbursement for the surgery arrived before the credit card bill did. I did a lot of research to find a good pet insurance company. In the end, I decided on Healthy Paws. This company seemed to have great coverage at a reasonable price. The percentage of reimbursement and the annual deductible can be tailored to your liking. I chose a 90% reimbursement with a $100 annual deductible. The bad news: I had to use this policy because my young dog (under 2 years old) tore ligaments in both knees. So far, one surgery has been completed with the other scheduled in a few weeks. The cost for the first leg operation cost about $5,000 with the second costing roughly the same. The good news: My dog is covered by Healthy Paws. I was very skeptical to see what actually would be covered, but was greatly and happily surprised that they covered everything. I took a picture of the entire bill with my phone using the Healthy Paws App. That’s it! The check is in the mail! In addition, every time I called, the people (real live people) who answered where extremely helpful and nice. What a great company!
