Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Don't be a fool and buy pet insurance from Healthy Paws. We have been paying the Healthy Paws insurance premium for our daughter's Yorkie since 2014 and they denied our only claim. They are very good at marketing and making people believe they care about pets. To be fair all insurance companies are in the business of denying claims especially the ones that don't face strong regulations by states. They make money by denying claims and raising premiums so that owners cancel their policies.

Excellent coverage, and friendly staff who genuinely care about the health and happiness of our dog. We received hand-signed condolence cards from Healthy Paws staff members when our beloved old guy passed away. After a recent operation for our younger girl, the Healthy Paws team checked in to ask how she was doing. They really care and go the extra mile in customer service. I never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

When I first adopted Ollie, my vet advised me to get pet insurance. I got it reluctantly, and thought I would cancel it a few months later. This insurance is a complete blessing. My little guy has been through a lot in the past four years since I had insurance. When Ollie had to have emergency spinal surgery due to ruptured discs my insurance was the last thing I was thinking about. After he made it home, I remembered I had insurance, uploaded my receipts and received a check within two weeks! I couldn't believe it. I have submitted a few claims since then and it is always so easy. To go a step further, after we brought Ollie home I even got an email from a really nice "claws and paws protector" from Healthy Paws just checking to see if Ollie was ok. I am so glad I was too lazy to cancel my insurance 4 years ago. I don't know what I would have done without Healthy Paws. I am happy to recommend them to anyone adopting a new pet.

Health Paws Insurance is an amazing insurance company who is helpful and very prompt in refunding you for your pets vet care. They are very caring. They contacted me to find out how my dog was. Truly #1 insurance out there.

We were on the fence about getting health insurance when we got a new puppy, but am so glad we did and that we used Healthy Paws. Our 4 month old Frenchie broke his kneecap while jumping around, which required surgery and a month-long recovery with multiple check-ups. $6,000 later, I was ready for a fight to get all of my claims approved and processed, but Healthy Paws couldn't have been easier. After taking pictures of each of the invoices through the mobile app and having the hospital send records to Healthy Paws, my claim was approved within ~2 weeks and they mailed me a check shortly thereafter. I'd definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone getting a dog.
