Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Absolutely the best pet insurance on the market. Wish I didn't have to use it, because it means my pet has been ill. However, without Healthy Paws, I don't know how we would have paid for medications and surgery. Their customer service and responsiveness to claims is stellar. Wish my human medical insurance was this good.

Had an expensive surgery for a toe amputation for my dog on 1-24-19. Healthy Paws' reimbursement for the surgery was in my checking account by 2-4-19 which was very quick. Excellent customer service.

I did a lot of research on pet insurance before signing up with Healthy Paws. The others were either too expensive or limiting on what they cover and how much. Decided to go with Healthy Paws and they did not disappoint! I've had the insurance now for 5 years and dont know what I would have done without it. My dog just had his second knee surgery within a year's time, and after the deductible was met, they covered 90% of it! And the best part is, the claim gets processed within a few days and I get the check a few days after that! WOW! Just WOW! And now they just surprised me again by following up to find out how my dog is doing after surgery! What pet insurance does that? Thank you Tim!

Seriously has saved my dog's life 4x. I got insurance at 6 mo. old because my puppy was an eat 'em up type baby dog. I was concerned we would end with a ball in the belly and have $$$ in surgery someday. As it happened my dog was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease at 11 mo. and has unfortunately been prone to various maladies. Having Healthy Paws insurance with their generous coverage, easy & quick claim turn around and kind customer service has allowed us to make humane and life saving decisions for our dog. She is a bit of a lemon at times but she is happy and healthy right now squeaking her toy a bit too much as I write this. And, I know this is a glowing review that may seem untrue or over the top but truly my dog has been hospitalized over 5x at veterinary specialist in her 5 1/2 years and we couldn't give her that care without Healthy Paws.
