Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Spent a while looking for pet insurance companies and heard a lot a good reviews about Healthy Paws. I was a little skeptical at first but after experiencing first hand the ease of filing claims with them for our puppy they definitely have lived up to the hype. Look no further, they honestly have the simplest and most straight-forward policy there is, and their pricing is very competitive as well.

I am so happy with Healthy Paws Insurance. They couldn’t have better service and the reimbursement check came really fast. I will always have insurance so I can be sure and have care for them anytime they have a health concern. I wish our human health insurance was so quick to settle claims and pay. My sweet goldendoodle Ollie suffered bloat. His stomach filled up with air and started to twist. We were fortunate to know the signs of bloat and he was able to get the ER vet within minutes of symptoms starting. He had a successful surgery and is going to make a full recovery. It was emotionally and financially rolling. When I called Healthy Paws to discuss what was going on, they couldn’t have been nicer. They reached out to the veterinary clinic and worked directly with them on getting invoices and updates. This is not customarily how the claim process works as you’re supposed to submit yourself. However, they knew how stressed I was and wanted to take the burden off of me. Our claimed was processed very quickly and had a received our reimbursement a few days after. They continued to reach out checking on Ollie. The personal attention made this situation much easier. I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

I signed up with HealthyPaws when my boy Flynn came into the family in 2017. I have been so glad to have HealthyPaws this year in particular. We've had some health issues with Flynn this year. It is so easy to submit claims to HealthyPaws, see why I did or didn't get reimbursed for certain things, and the customer service is superb. Today was the first time I called the customer service line. I emailed first, but then called because I wanted a quick answer (I'm not very patient), although I knew they would get back to me by the end of the day via email. I got lucky to hear from MARY at HealthyPaws. To say she was a pleasure to talk with is an understatement. From the start you know she's an animal lover herself. She started off the call with such enthusiasm. I wasn't doing too great as I am dealing with my dog recently being diagnosed with Lyme Disease, but Mary easily cheered me up. As we went over my plan and info, she noticed that Flynn had almost met his deductible for the year. She then asked about him and his health. Then asked how I was doing, which was so sweet. I love this company. It has given me such a sense of ease knowing that they have my dog's best interest at heart. I love HealthyPaws!! Thank you Mary and thank you HealthyPaws. We have two dogs that are insured by Healthy Paws and have been incredibly pleased with the service they provide. The older dog tore her ACL on one hind leg this summer and, 2 months later, tore her ACL on the other leg. Both required surgery. Healthy Paws paid both bills promptly and sent very nice follow-up emails. We have made some other smaller claims in the past and have come to appreciate the professional, warm service they provide. It has been flawless in our 8 years of experience with it.
