So thankful for healthy paws pet insurance

When Mesa got sick, we took him to the vet and were told that it wasn't good. His liver enzymes were higher than their machine could count. We asked them if it was treatable and were told that it was but the cost would be high. I told them we had pet insurance and to do what they needed to do get him better. After 2 nights in the emergency vet, we took Mesa home and he is on his way to a full recovery. It cost more than $6000!! Less than a week later, we were reimbursed nearly $5000 from healthy paws. They are a godsend. The customer service was extraordinary and were pleasantly surprised by their concern and support. If there is one thing I would stress to pet owners, it is to get insurance on your pets. Although we would have done whatever we needed to help Mesa, having insurance made it so much easier.

Easy! and Helpful!

i use Healthy Paws for 3 animals- two dogs and a cat. Been using it for a couple years now. Setting up the account and coverage is a breeze and so is changing it if you need to- the premiums are reasonably priced, the claims process is super easy and they paid on them in a timely fashion. I highly recommend using Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws really came through!

My little chihuahua mix, Millie, had a terrible accident two weeks ago, resulting in the loss of her tail. When I contacted Healthy Paws they were both compassionate and responsive. They processed my (hefty) surgical claims immediately and followed up with interest in Millie's progress. They were both caring and competent (a rare combination in my experience) and I can recommend this company without reservation. By the way, Millie got immediate attention for her injury and her stitches have just been removed. She's doing great! ...happily wagging her new little tail:)

Tough decision made easy

Our poor dog has had his share of eye problems in his 2.5 years of life. He had cataract surgery on each eye by the time he was 14 months old. Just a few weeks ago, our boy was diagnosed with a partially detached retina. The veterinary ophthalmologist indicated that we had two choices – we could get the retina re-attached or we could do nothing (and our dog would lose his sight in that eye). My wife and I are blessed that we could afford the surgery, though it certainly would have strained our budget significantly. But having Healthy Paws insurance made what could have been a difficult decision a rather easy one. Without the worry of financial ramifications, we only had to concern ourselves with what was best for our boy. Our boy, Wynslow, had the surgery and is healing very nicely. Not only did Healthy Paws reimburse us promptly, they have taken the time to check in on us to see how our boy is doing. It really was a great comfort to know that the only thing we had to worry about was that our boy get the best medical treatment and not anything else. In the two-and-a-half years we have had Healthy Paws insurance, we have never been disappointed with the service they have provided.

Highly recommend

I am the owner of a very sweet & loving 6 year old dog who unfortunately likes to punish me when I leave her alone by getting into things she shouldn't - and has resulted in more than one overnight hospital stay. I have had Healthy Paws pet insurance for about 3 years now and they have been great every (unfortunate!) time that I've needed to use them. Their app is very simple and easy to use; they are very prompt in their response times; and their reimbursements go direct to my bank account. I highly recommend them!
