Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for many years and they have cared for and saved the life of many of my dogs. They are available whenever I have a question and are willing to solve problems should one arise. The last medical emergency I had was with my greyhound, Danny, an ex-racing hound from Ireland. He shattered his leg and not only required emergency surgery but developed a life-threatening bleeding disorder, hyperfibrinolysis, that was a very expensive rehab. Healthy Paws paid all of his claims within days of them being submitted and with a very large bill, I really appreciated that. I have always been able to count on them no matter how small or large the medical problem. Thanks to Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Dr. Ganz and his team and Healthy Paws, Danny is alive and thriving after a nine month ordeal! I wouldn't trust any other company with the medical care of my animals.

We are forever grateful that we have Healthy Paws for our dog. We would do whatever it takes for our sweet boy to be healthy. Healthy Paws gives us a peace of mind that we will be able to afford to do that. Healthy Paws allows you to customize your plan based on how much you want covered and refunded versus how much you want to pay a month. The process to submit a claim is so easy - my vets office was even impressed. A few clicks on the app and you are done! They communicate effectively where they are in the process. Granted, we are all looking at the pet insurance for monetary reasons but Healthy Paws goes a step further and they have called and e-mailed to check on our dog and how he is doing, after we submit a claim for a major event (ear hematoma, knee surgery, etc.). I cannot say enough positive comments about Healthy Paws - you won't regret it!

I bought a Healthy Paws plan when we adopted our pug from the shelter 3 years ago. What a blessing! He's had some eye problems develop and we were able to see a specialist and get him surgery to try to restore some sight. They have covered 90% of his bills - better than my human insurance! The app is great for submitting claims and super easy to navigate. They are very prompt with reimbursements as well. Would highly recommend them to any pet parents. We also purchased a policy for our younger pet too, but he's been very healthy so far.

I rarely write reviews but Healthy Paws has exceeded my expectations in all regards. It is the the most amazing pet insurance, for that matter, any insurance that I have ever encountered. They are incredibly efficient, responsive, and caring. When was the last time your insurance company emailed to find out how you are feeling? Healthy Paws has reached out to me numerous times to find out how my dog is feeling. Their website is intuitive and easy to use. They follow up on claims very quickly, are very clear as to what they approve, and pay in a very timely manner. While my dog has had her share of medical issues they have not raised my premiums other than minimal increases. I really cannot rave enough about Healthy Paws.
