Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We are very happy with the service that Healthy Paws provides. I signed up for insurance shortly after rescuing our 5 months old pup and it was the best decision we could have made. It's affordable and the service is stellar. When our pup became lame at just a year and a half, she had to have surgery to stablize her knee cap and repair a partially torn ligament. Healthy Paws paid 80% of the cost and quickly. A few weeks after her surgery, they reached out just to ask how she was doing. You don't often get that kind of personal touch from insurance companies!

I am so grateful I decided to get Healthy Paws insurance for my dog Ruby. She is only 3 years old and has cancer. Healthy Paws has reimbursed my for her surgery to remove the tumor. The cost of the surgery was $3,886 and Healthy Paws has reimbursed me $3.107. This has made is so much better for me to focus on getting Ruby the care she needs to fight this cancer.

We decided to insure our new puppy (Harley) with Healthy Paws and we are so glad we did! We had only had him for 2 months and he was taken very ill one morning and could not get into to our normal vets. We had to take him to the emergency vet in Torrance. We discovered he has a serious linear blockage and would need a major operation. Of course very worried we also had not used our insurance before and we were told the estimated costs would be around $6,500! When I spoke to the advisor at HP I expressed my concern that we were not at our normal vets. They then passed me through to a specialist to look at what would be covered. Not only did they provide an amazing service, but they also dealt directly with the medical team, which was a huge help at a time we were crazy worried! Since his operation he has seemed to make a full recovery and the support, kindness and cover we received from the whole Healthy Paws Team was amazing. They have followed up to make sure he is ok and we are so grateful and pleased we chose to use Healthy Paws for our pet insurance. I cannot recommended them highly enough, thank you!

Healthy Paws is wonderful. Truly - I recommend them to EVERYONE with pets. We get reimbursed quickly (we use the direct deposit option), and they also email to check up on our handicapped frenchie whenever he has issues like is in the ER. They obviously really care about animals. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Our Cavapoo Puppy some how on a walk around our lake in the neighborhood ingested something that put her in a state of mind that We had to rush her to the emergency pet hospital. This was anxiety at its finest with my wife and I on edge when they had trouble sedating her. We had her in the hospital 2 days with the finest care given and we paid the bill on the third day and with ease sent it in via their easy system to Healthy Paws. All I can say is we just received the check today in a ten day period which was so much appreciated. Healthy Paws allowed my wife and I to concentrate on our Pipers recovery. Thank you!!
