Be Prepared for Humongous Increases in Your Premiums!!

This company increases prices every year. I started insuring my two Shih Tzus four years (2015) ago with Healthy Pet. At that time, my plan premiums were a reasonable $67.80 for both pets. In May 2019, my premiums will be 66% higher than in 2015 to a whopping $102.10. Worst yet, this is the highest rated company of all the ones I checked: This is not about keeping up with inflation, which would be understandable, this is about GREED! I plan on upping my emergency fund by $20K, and as soon as I do, I am dropping Healthy Paws and never looking back. DRM

Incredible company

My cat needed emergency surgery on a weekend. Not only was I terrified for my pets life but was concerned about the huge medical bills and my coverage as I had never put in a claim before. Healthy paws was amazing. I was reimbursed within 2 days of submission and they convered exactly what their plan stated when I signed up. No fine print, no hidden fees. They made an incredibly difficult time so much easier. I can’t praise them enough!!

Healthy Paws cumstomer service is wonderful and they covered our dog Jacks' emergency surgery that saved his life.

I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and cannot express enough how important it is for your pet. We would not have been able to afford the life saving surgery our dog needed without Healthy Pet insurance coverage. Our dog Jacks kidney was infected with the tumor and required his kidney and the tumor to be removed right away. The outcome would have been very grim and only given us days with our boy if the surgery did not take place. Once we found out the surgery could be as much as $10,000 we were very upset and not sure we could come up with so much money in such a short amount of time. I called Healthy Paws from the parking lot of the hospital and found out the best news ever! Healthy Paws was able to cover 80% of all expenses so we were able to give Jack the surgery he needed immediately. It is truly amazing to me that Healthy Paws coverage included being able to put the very large $6000.00 deposit down so the surgery could happen so quickly. I just can’t express how much we appreciate the Healthy Paws Team and for all their expedient help and caring that continues to amaze our family. Because of Healthy Paws our dog was able to get the life saving surgery he needed and we will have many more years with our wonderful Chocolate Lab Jack and I will always have Healthy Paws Insurance for all of our dogs in the future. Tammy Daniels A Healthy Paws member for life!

Best pet insurance out there

I took out pet insurance eight years ago as an elderly person knowing that this new puppy (Maysie) would become more than just a pet, and not knowing what finances would be like in retirement. I reasoned that we could afford a small monthly payment and all preventative care, but couldn’t bear the thought of “putting Maysie down” for a fixable illness/injury because we couldn’t pay for it. I researched all current policies at the time and decided that Healthy Paws offered the best plan for us. So we signed Maysie up. I am so thankful we did!!! Maysie did turn out to be a family member, a constant companion going with us everywhere - even sleeping on the bed with us at night. We couldn’t love her more. Unfortunately, she has not been lucky with her health. She has had three major operations, the last of which was to remove a skull tumor. Healthy Paws has been right there with us each time. Claims are easy to file and payments are usually within a week. The company always sends emails asking how Maysie is doing. They have given her many extra years by allowing us to seek treatment that we would not have been able to afford. We are deeply in debt to Healthy Paws and thank them profusely. I always recommend them to anyone I talk to who is considering pet insurance. Nancy Holland
