I would like to sign myself up for this insurance.

Healthy Paws has been really great! I HIGHLY recommend their insurance for anyone with a pet. It really saves you from large vet bills or making difficult decisions based on those costs. One of my cats recently had to undergo a $4K+ surgery and hospital stay and the bill was 90% covered. This insurance is better than what my company offers me. If I could claim domestic partnership and sign up for this insurance for myself, I would.

Birkenstock Shoes!!

Having pet insurance gives you choices. When the Vet said surgery or an endoscopy procedure to remove shoe pieces we had a choice. We chose the one with the least amount of pain for our dog. I've had pet insurance for my last two dogs and I cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws. I really did my research before buying insurance and felt that Healthy Paws was the best one for us.

SIMPLY THE BEST....OUR MINI SCHNAUZER IS IN THE BEST HANDS AVAILABE

After adopting Bella (our mini schnauzer) almost 3 years ago, we selected Healthy Paws as her insurance provider. This was probably one of the smartest decisions we've made. HP is great!!!!!! From excellent customer service, fast claims processing; nobody beats Healthy Paws....They have a nice variety of plans to select from. Bella had cataract surgery on July 2nd at a cost of $3875. Within 3 weeks, we had a check from HP for $3100.

Healthy Paws is amazing!

Our girl Sunny had to have emergency surgery to remove an obstruction. Healthy Paws was quick to approve and reimburse per our benefit coverage. They even sent us a follow up email checking in on her recovery! So thankful for this company!

Awesome insurance that responded quickly!

After adopting my 10 month old rescue 2 years ago, I selected Healthy Paws as her insurance. You never know what issues will drop up with rescues. Money well spent! Unbeknownst to me, my girl started consuming parts of toys, blankets, etc., while we were moving cross country. Recent surgery removed nearly two pounds of material! No outward signs of stress, perfect passenger in the car, my 55 pound girl seemed fine outwardly. Now she's back in her kennel when I can't directly supervise. Health Paws paid my claim quickly and sympathetically! Thank you!!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
