Amazing Top-Notch Insurance Company

I can't say enough wonderful things about Healthy Paws. I got insurance on my dog in 2016 and I tell everyone it's the best money I spend every month. My little gal was diagnosed with epilepsy in September of 2016, then 5 months later tore her ACL and needed surgery. I can't express how easy Healthy Paws has made my life and how simple it is to process claims. Her hospitalization, monthly medications and surgery have all been covered and I have to thank Healthy Paws for making that happen. I'm glad I did my research on insurance companies before choosing one but I can tell you 100% to choose Healthy Paws!

Never expected to be so grateful for insurance!

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review Saturday evening, before Super Bowl Sunday, our 16 month-old Bernese Mountain Dog pulled up lame in the left hind quarter. We decided to see if it resolved by the morning and Sunday morning he couldn't even put weight on the Right fore leg! Up to the vet. Came home with not definitive cause but administering pain meds. That same day, during the first quarter of the Super Bowl, he could not breathe! Seemed like he was falling apart on so many fronts. The 50 mile ride back to the vet was surreal, I was in the back with Whit praying for him, pounding on his chest to provoke some breathing and begging him to stay with me. The thing I didn't have to worry about was how we were going to pay for his care. For the first time in 40 years of sharing our hearts and home with our canine companions, we had taken out pet insurance. We did this because we anticipated that, like our other Berners, Whit would likely experience orthopaedic issues in his 5th or 6th year. Never did we anticipate that before his 1st birthday, we would have over $10,000 in vet bills and that within the next six months we would add over $5,000 in a different episode! And, he has - apparently - recovered more quickly than his shaved legs have grown back the hair from the IV and other procedures! He is a wonderful, hardy fellow and we are so grateful for his recovery and that we have a partner in financing his health escapades.

A must have for big dogs!

Healthy Paws has been absolutely incredible in covering our giant, furry Certified Therapy Dogs! When it was discovered that our seven year old Saint Bernard had more than FIFTY bladder stones, Healthy Paws reimbursed us for his hospitalization and surgery, which was over $3000. In addition, our 9 year old Newfoundland has had chronic arthritis in all four of her "wrists" for several years. Not only does Healthy Paws cover her expensive medications, they pay for her ongoing rehabilitation, which includes laser therapy, acupuncture, and a water treadmill. It is SO comforting knowing that Healthy Paws allows us to get our wonderful dogs the best care available, without having to worry about cost. To make things even better, the Healthy Paws app makes it painless to submit claims immediately and get reimbursed quickly!
