My cat was listless and clearly unwell, so we took him to our vet, who could not find anything wrong with him. Over the next few days he got worse. At 1 am one morning he was having difficulty breathing so we took him to the emergency vet. He had developed pyothorax (pus within the chest cavity compressing his lungs), and without treatment would probably have died that night. After treatment and a week in hospital, he made a full recovery. The treatment resulted in a simply enormous bill which Healthy Paws paid promptly and without any difficulty. This is precisely how I hoped this insurance would work, and they exceeded my expectations by providing the correct service promptly and without discussion. I am extremely grateful to Healthy Paws for their service and they have earned a loyal customer.

Seek no further. Healthy Paws cares, simplifies the reimbursement process, and communicates so well! We have two doggies -- one has had health issues in the last couple of years. Healthy Paws was there for us without any of the nightmares we often hear about in terms of insurance. On the contrary, they were respectful, caring, and accommodating. The two serious surgeries our dog went through were made a little bit easier by not having to worry about money on top of the health of our boy. Luckily, he is much better now! Our yellow lab, Sully, recently had expensive tests to determine that he has a heart murmur and Dilated Cardiomyopathy. This may be an ongoing issue that we'll have to follow up on and test on a regular basis. We're so glad we have Healthy Paws by our side, as they covered every dollar that they agreed on when we signed up for coverage, and we received our reimbursement in an extremely timely manner. They then followed up by email to check on how Sully is feeling. We HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws! :)
