Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I’ve been incredibly happy with the coverage and service provided by Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. My claims have been processed very quickly and the prompt follow ups from a representative have exceeded my expectations. It lifts a tremendous weight off my mind knowing I can seek the best care for my two boys, a mixed breed and a Rottweiler, knowing that Healthy Paws will be there for us. I have used hEalthy paws since my fur baby was a baby and he is now three!, They are caring of your needs at a very sensitive time and they are fast with processing your claims. Our dog had to have a serious abdominal surgery to remove things he had eaten that were not digestible . Without healthy paws we would have been hit with a 3800. Bill 4 weeks prior to Christmas! We had to pay it but we had it back in our bank within 1 week - 90% back! That is awesome! Highly recommend to anyone with pets

My dog was almost 10 when I signed up with Healthy Paws but I am so glad I did. Not very many pet insurances would take older dogs. He turns 15 in January and is now having many health issues and problems so recently I have been reimbursed for his claims. What a big help for all the costs exceeding normal costs. When you have extensive tests costs involving your vet, vet specialists, additional blood tests, ultrasounds, etc etc. I was so glad to have Healthy Paws by my side. I don’t know what future will bring, maybe my little one can live an additional 1-2 more years. He does have cysts by his pancreas and kidney and has cushings disease so is on a special diet now. Luckily I believe cysts are slow growing but specialist will watch this and I am so fortunate to have Healthy Paws. I may not have done all the extensive and further testing If I did not have pet insurance. Healthy Paws is truly worth the peace knowing what’s hurting your little one. Their customer service is excellent, payment reimbursement fast and truly worth the monthly insurance costs. I’d recommend this insurance to anyone looking for out of the ordinary care expenses.

One phase: pre-existing condition exclusion. Makes this worthiness for pets that are adopted. Edit - Not really sure what transparency has to do with excluding pets with pre-existing conditions. Considering that this was an equally horrible thing for human health insurance that was changed maybe pet insurance companies should follow this lead instead.

Healthy Paws -- great customer service, fast, courteous -- easy to deal with. We're very thankful we have Healthy Paws for our dog -- it's been extremely helpful to us.
