Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am sure you hear this a lot but my Lilly is a baby. I can't tell you how stressful it was knowing she was going in for a major surgery at her age and such a painful one at that. She really needed this surgery because her chronic ear infections were just getting worse and worse. Her quality of living was not optimal and something had to be done. Having this insurance policy was a beacon of light to me because I didn't have to worry about the money but instead focus on my baby's health and recovery. It was a horrible few days of recovery but today almost two weeks later, she is happier and healthier. She gets her stitches out tomorrow and from the results of the culture, her infection was a nasty one and so far down her ear canal, that it would have never cleared up and would have just kept rearing it's ugly head. I tell everyone about your insurance plan and how well I have been treated. Thank you for caring and checking in on my baby. She is the light of my life.

Healthy Paws is the only reason my staffie is alive today. My puppy came down with an awful infection. The first week in the hospital was $17,000.00 alone. I have been paying into this plan for a year and a half. I’m so glad I made the decision to buy this insurance! Recently my dog suffered multiple herniated discs and lost his ability to walk. Surgery was one of two options with the latter being euthanasia. Thanks to this insurance paying 90% ish (exam fees were excluded) of the total cost I didn’t even have to consider euthanasia. The dog is on the mend and within 5 days the reimbursement was in my account.

I'm extremely thankful for what Healthy Paws has covered for my dog. Ranger is the best companion but has had health issues from day one, and though it's worrisome to get big vet bills for his procedures, medications, etc., I always feel less stressed because I know Healthy Paws covers so much of his costs. Especially with this latest procedure, I was extremely thankful to see them come through and help me out. Their communication and prompt refunds are incredible. Plus, they check in with their clients which really makes a big difference. I don't know what I would do without them!

Our 4 month Goldendoodle, Maddie broke her leg 4 weeks ago. It happened in the evening which meant it was a visit to the emergency vet, where X-rays were taken and a splint applied. The next day we went to our vet and it was decided she needed surgery. All my claims were processed and paid within 10 days, if not sooner. They allowed all the charges except for office visits (which we knew ahead of time). I was already impressed and then I received a personal email a couple weeks after surgery asking how Maddie was doing after her surgery. They have met and exceeded my expectations. I feel safe having all 3 of my dogs insured by them.
