If you are questioning if pet insurance is worth it, do not hesitate, get it! I can recommend Healthy Paws, because they have been awesome with our case. We didn't think we'd need this service, but our breeder and Vet suggested we'r get insurance when our cat was 1 yr old and healthy. Best decision ever! Jack needed hip surgery, and it was so unexpected, but HEALTHY PAWS covered it. We were refunded 80% of the cost. So grateful for great insurance coverage!

HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE...do it. This is our first experience with pet insurance and we are so impressed! GREAT SERVICE, GREAT COVERAGE, AND AFFORABLE RATES!!! Our two and a half year old Maine Coon needed hip surgery. Not only was It covered, HEALTHY PAWS promptly responded and their claim system is very easy to work it! I highly recommend it!

Totally Worth It Insurance

Healthy Paws is phenomenal. I never worry about my dogs health because I know Healthy Paws has their back. I have 3 dogs of all ages and as they age, new issues arise. Healthy Paws always takes care of them. It’s such a relief

Prompt and efficient customer service

Have 2 Golden Retrievers insured with Healthy Paws for more than 5 years. Theirs premium are quite a bit less than other companies we have researched. Multiple claims have been handled promptly and mostly without question. Claims process is very convenient and easy. Direct deposit of payments helps speed up the process. Recently one of our dogs required major orthopedic surgery. Over $11,000 and Healthy Paws was there for us. That kind of peace of mind is why we have pet insurance.

The BEST!

Healthy Paws is SO HELPFUL! When our dog was sick no hesitation from them. Then when she came home they wrote to ask how she was!!! Wouldn’t get any other insurance!!!!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
