Worst customer service!

This company is very frustrating. Very very difficult to reach by phone & They do not return messages. Will up the monthly fee as much as 20% each renewal!

This is an incredible company

Have owned many animals over the years and have used several different pet insurance carriers. Healthy Paws is by far the easiest and the best company ever. They are kind and caring and fast and easy. I wish them the greatest success because they've earned it.

Health Paws Pet Insurance is the best in coverages, very fast in processing the claims and issuing the reimbursement checks.

We rescued Lola, a mix of chihuahua and spaniel, when she was 6 months old. The first time we had to take her to emergency room the bill was almost $800. We did not have Pet Insurance. The clinic recommended Health Paws Pet Insurance. This was the best decision we made . She is almost 6 years old now and in February she was diagnosed with IMHA ( meaning her immune system destroying its own red blood cells) and has been hospitalized twice. Once for 5 days and the 2nd time for 9 days. Currently the bills have exceeded $36,000 and Healthy Paws has paid almost 90% of the bills. Their claims department is not only extremely fast in processing the claims and issuing the checks, but also very caring and passionate. Its almost like being part of our family. Lola is feeling much better now and I just cant imagine what we would have done without their financial support. They are truly caring and are very concerned in the well being of our Lola. I highly highly recommend Health Paws. They are the best.

Why am I paying premiums?

Filed my first claim for $517 which included x-rays, radiology fees, and a couple of tests for a brand new condition. Based on what they advertise, should be covered, right? After a full month of processing, the claim quietly came back as completed - and not one penny of it was covered! The only explanation on the EOB was "Other exclusion/limitation." What's that mean? I still don't know! They do NOT answer emails. And if you call, I hope you like listening to hold messages! I've called twice and been on hold for over 30 minutes before hanging up. One time I followed an option "If you want us to call you back, press 1" -- nothing happens with that either. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to contact them to cancel this worthless policy. Hopefully, I'll get hold of a human at some point!

The BEST!!!

I have never been so in love with a company. I signed up for Healthy Paws a few months before my dog was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor. While the diagnosis was scary, we never had to worry about affording the best treatment available. She has been on a very expensive low-grade chemo, for which Healthy Paws has reimbursed us about $35,000 over the last two years. They make reimbursement extremely easy. All you have to do is take a picture of the bill on the app and they'll send you a check within a week. You can also do direct deposit. Healthy Paws are literal lifesavers. If you have a dog or cat, sign up now.
