Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Four years ago, we decided that we wanted to add a fur baby to our family. His name is Seamus. Being first time pet owners, we knew the first and most important thing was to get good pet insurance. Having done some research, we found Healthy Paws. They offer broad coverage and a reasonable monthly fee that we can afford. Just recently Seamus cracked two of his teeth chewing on a bully bone and had to have them removed! An unexpected cost like that can be stressful. It was comforting to know that Healthy Paws was there to cover 90% of the cost. We highly recommended Healthy Paws to pet owners. Submitting a claim is so easy and they are quick to reimburse us. We can't thank Healthy Paws enough for the personal touch. They always follow up by emailing to check on how Seamus is feeling.

I’ve been a member of the healthy paws family for about a year: 4 months ago my 6 year old tabby started having chronic ear infections. We have been to 3 different vets with so far 10 appointments and 14 claims to insurance for visits and medicine. Healthy paws has made the process of submitting and filing claims so easy. Even reaching out via email to check on her wellbeing. When you call, the customer service team is so compassionate. I am very happy I chose them to be my kitties health care.

Our dachshund Lea developed back pain to a point that she was almost paralyzed. Our vet gave her medication but it did not seem to help so it was suggested to visit a clinic specialized in spine treatment. At first they treated Lea with more medication but since nothing seemed to help, there was only one solution, MRI and a subsequent operation. The bill amounted to little over $ 7,000 and I was so happy that I had Healthy Pet insurance since they took over 90 % of the amount. It was so easy to file a claim and it was settled within very few days. Check came right after. I highly recommend this insurance to all pet owners.

Hands down the best decision I could have made. This company is amazing. Not only have they made filing a claim incredibly simple but the customer service is top notch. They even checked up on my boy after a big surgery to see how he was doing. I would highly recommend healthy paws.

We could not be happier that we purchased a policy for our dog from Healthy Paws. Cuper has a chronic auto immune disease and horrible allergies and would have cost us a fortune if we didn't have insurance. Healthy Paws has been upfront about what they cover and don't and they have always surprised me by covering some things I thought they wouldn't, like probiotics and fish oil. We have been thrilled with their customer service and timely payments. You never know when you're going to get a dog that has a chronic problem and this has taken so much of the stress out of taking care of a sick animal. Our dog is happy and healthy and thriving and it's all because we can provide him the care he needs. We love it so much we got a policy for our second dog. I have nothing bad to say at all about them, it's all raves!
