A Big Thumbs-Up for Healthy Paws!!

My 10-month old Lab, Monroe, was attacked by a vicious dog in an NYC dog run and needed two surgeries to recover. The Healthy Paws app on my IPhone made it SUPER easy to submit claims and forward appropriate documentation from the vet and the pet hospital through simple IPhone pictures. I received clear emailed updates from Healthy Paws on the status of my claims. Reimbursement for m emergency vet/pet hospital expenses came promptly in the mail and was followed by a thoughtful/friendly check-up email from Healthy Paws personnel. Only wish my own PERSONAL health care insurance worked so smoothly!

Just get it!

There is not enough space on this form for me to write how thankful I am to Healthy Paws. My dog has a series of seizures which required hospitalization and long term treatment (including chemo). Just to give you an idea, the first few days of the ICU were about $3,000.00. Six month in, the healthcare expenses have been closer to 9K. As promised, Healthy Paws covered 90 percent of the treatment and processed all the reimbursements in a matter of days. We were so impressed. Turns out our dog has better health insurance than we do! I would strongly recommend anyone with a pet to purchase Healthy Paws insurance.

Thank God for Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

Recently, my 13 year old maltipoo had to undergo emergency gallbladder removal. I've had pet insurance since my dog was a puppy. I am so grateful for Healthy Paws being there. I would do anything for my dog and knowing I had pet insurance coverage made it even better. Healthy Paws has a super easy website to navigate. The claim process was easy and the turn around time was super quick. Much faster than human claims! Most people have insurance for their family, isn't your pet part of your family?

Love Healthy Paws

When I got my current cat, Dido, I decided for the first time to get pet insurance. After some research I choose Healthy Paws. My cat who is not even 2 years old developed gall stones and required surgery. The diagnosis, surgery and follow-up was costly. After receiving my pet’s medical records Heathy Paws kept me informed about the review process and fully paid as per the coverage of my policy in a very timely manner. I am so glad I have Healthy Paws insurance.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
