Very impressed

We had just had a year long struggle with our home owners insurance that had finally settled. Then my dog tears his CCL and requires TPLO surgery. I dreaded the claim process and geared up for the “inevitable” fight. I was so pleasantly surprised when we got an email notice within 7 days that our claim had been approved and our check arrived 2 days later. That is how insurance is supposed to work! I also thought the personalized email asking about how my dog was doing was a great touch. Highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Great company....

We adopted a rescued beagle/basset mix. Best thing we ever did. He had been through quite a bit of trauma by the time we rescued him. My sister suggested we use Healthy Paws for our dog's insurance company. Recently our dog had to have an unexpected surgery. We paid up front for the surgery and filed a claim with Healthy Paws. I called the number due to a question I had. The representative I spoke with was beyond helpful. Once the paperwork was received we had check in hand for reimbursement with 10 business days. Can't complain with service like that. Great company!!

grateful! surgery covered

My dog mochi is a 4 year old Maltipoo, he is my first dog so he is super spoiled and has been insured with healthypaw since he was 6 months old. Recently he had a ruptured disc from jumping off the sofa and needed an emergency laminectomy. The estimated cost was around 10-14k, which typically with all the pet insurance out there, you would have to pay upfront and then get reimbursed. However, I called healthyPaw to see if they can work with the vet and pay the vet directly, which they did!! They responded my request to formal pre-approval email to me and my vet. within a few hours (I think I got the email response within 3hrs). The total cost of the bill was covered per the insurance plan I have for Mochi. On top of that, Mochi will need physical therapy to help him walk again and the physical therapy vet I am working with says healthypaw will cover almost all their services they provide there, will update the review after PT treatment/reimbursement. I cannot say how grateful I am for having HealthyPaw!!

The best!

Excellent company with amazing customer service! My dog had to have emergency surgery to remove bladder stones and Healthy Paws was there every step of the way. They didn’t hassle me about coverage or give me a hard time with my reimbursement once the claim was submitted. Money was direct deposited in my account within a few business days. Would completely recommend them to everyone.
