I LOVE Healthy Paws. My girl has a sensitive tummy and I’ve taken her in a few times now for peace of mind. Two of her visits were around $800 and it was such a good feeling to know I would be reimbursed for what Healthy Paws said they would cover. I’ve never been surprised by being reimbursed for less or had to argue about coverage the way some reviewers said about their insurance providers. I had a different insurance company first and promptly switched. You will be glad you went with these folks!

Easiest Insurance Ever
My purebred English Staffordshire Terrier and one of my mixed American Staffordshire Terriers have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. We got them insurance after we experienced over $10,000 worth of vet bills for a different dog, and we never wanted that to happen again! I think we've had the insurance on the other 2 for about 4 years now. We hadn't used it much until recently when our English Staffy came back with high "liver death cells" on his bloodwork. Healthy Paws has been there to reimburse us for blood tests, ultrasounds, biopsies and medications. Knowing that your insurance is going to come through for you during those expensive times really helps ease the stress. Thanks Healthy Paws! We plan on using them for all future dogs in our home.

I am J Li and I am writing this review…
I am re-rating Healthy Paws Pet Insurance from one star to three stars, because Healthy Paws Pet Insurance re-decide CICI's claim and I have received all reimbursement today. I really appreciate it.
Thanks and have a good day

.........
I am J Li and I am writing this review with so much angry to Health Paws.
My beloved dog named CICI, a 9 years old black Labrador retriever, she joined Health Paws pet insurance plan from Feb, 23,2018.(CICI Policy Number: 559705-3)
On July 11, 2019 CICI had acute onset tetraparesis, and I took CICI to VCA Desert Animal Hospital to see a doctor and hospital recorded CICI's every health information from 2017.
After examination, Dr. Caldwell suggested I took CICI to VCA Valley Animal Medical Center & Emergency Hospital.
After serval hours examination in VCA Valley Animal Medical Center & Emergency Hospital, Dr. Jennifer Kingsley told me that CICI need a surgery and referred CICI to Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin, California.
My wife and I took CICI to Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin, California on July 12, 2019. Dr. Philip Schissler performed a very successful surgery and we were able took CICI to back home on July 15,2019.
I submitted a claim for CICI's pet insurance on July 16, 2019, and I received email from Healthy Paws. It seemed everything was OK.
After serval days, I reviewed CICI's claim state on Healthy Paws website, and found there was an Action Needed for more documents. In the meantime, I didn't receive any email required such Action Needed from Health Paws.
I send the documents as required below of the three hospitals, quoted from the Healthy Paws' website:
"Complete medical records for claim visit and previous visits, including veterinarian’s physical exam findings, laboratory results, and any other documentation associated with your visits. Your veterinary hospital will provide these documents to you and many are happy to send them on your behalf."
I sent all of CICI's records received from the three hospitals to Health Paws via Healthy Paws website after I logged in my account.
Meanwhile I received a email for VCA Valley Animal Medical Center & Emergency Hospital, and I was told they had sent CICI's records as required to Healthy Paws directly on July 27,2019.
Yesterday (Aug. 17, 2019) I received a email form Healthy Paws which stated "CICI's claim was closed due to missing documentation and length of time it had been open. At this time we still need Cici's full medical records prior to 7/11/19 submitted for us to review."
However, when I checked CICI's claim state on Health Paws website, a new row shows there is no Action Needed, instead shows "In Process" and when I clicked in there is not requirement of any documents.
I had send CICI's records of VCA Desert Animal Hospital from Dec 8, 2017 to July 11, 2019 to Healthy Paws already on Aug 01, 2019 via Healthy Paws website.

Be smart and get a Healthy Paws policy!
Healthy Paws made it possible to save our fur baby’s life. He is a three year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and we went to the vet with an eye injury and learned it wasn’t healing because he didn’t have any platelets. After a week in the emergency room and multiple tests, he was diagnosed with Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia.
It was a very emotional stressful time and we thought we were going to lose our baby. We are so grateful and appreciative that we had Healthy Paws so we weren’t also burdened with financial stress of taking care of our guy.
Now we have to routinely visit the vet for bloodwork and keep him on medication, so we have had multiple claims and we have never had any issues with Healthy Paws reimbursing us. Instead we get an email asking how our guy is and wishing us well. I can’t recommend them enough! We made sure to get a Healthy Paws policy when we decided to have another fur baby.
