There honestly aren’t words to describe this insurance company. I never thought I’d say that in my life, but I really mean it. We have 3 dogs insured by them, all who developed extremely expensive special needs after being rescued (blood disease, tumor, cataracts, diabetes, hypothyroidism, pancreatitis, chronic eye issues in all three, honestly, you name it...), and they’re bills have easily surpassed $100k over the past 6 years, but any pet owner knows that they’re basically children, and treating these issues wasn’t an option for us. Rather than fighting tooth and nail over coverage, Healthy Paws called and emailed us along the way with genuine concern about how they are doing. They ask for pictures to post in their office. They sent us a tiny painting of our dog after we weren’t sure if he was going to make it. No questions asked, their issues were covered time and time again. I would pay 5x what I am for the same service and coverage. Another company could hand me a gold bar, and I would stick with Healthy Paws. They genuinely care, and want your pets to continue being healthy members of your family, no matter what.

They care about you until you actually submit a claim
I do not recommend healthy paws. I’ve always loved them until I’ve recently actually had to submit a claim. They asked for additional documentation before they could complete the claim, so I sent them everything they asked for. They then just continued sending me emails saying I was missing documentation and every time I emailed back with the same documents they never answered my emails. I emailed and called their customer service line too and never heard from anyone. Then I got an email today saying my claim was closed because of not receiving the documents they were asking for

Thank you Healthy Paws for your quick claim service
Our Henry is recovering nicely, His doctor says he will make a full recovery and be able to run again. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance made that possible. I didn’t have to make a decision based on money, but rather one based on long-term quality of life. This is his second TPLO and they have paid in excess of $8,000. I hope I never have to use his insurance again. He does too!
Sincerely,

After awful experiences with three other companies, I thought pet insurance was just a scam. Healthy Paws changed my mind!
I have had awful experiences with three other pet insurance companies and had almost given up on the entire industry; but when we adopted my pup two years ago, I decided to give Healthy Paws a try. Two years later, Wally started limping, and now three months later, he's had major knee surgery followed by eight weeks of twice weekly hydrotherapy. I submitted the receipts expecting to get the run around. Instead...two weeks later a check showed up in my mailbox! Healthy Paws' easy process and expedience made a stressful experience so much easier, and cheaper too.
