Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had awful experiences with three other pet insurance companies and had almost given up on the entire industry; but when we adopted my pup two years ago, I decided to give Healthy Paws a try. Two years later, Wally started limping, and now three months later, he's had major knee surgery followed by eight weeks of twice weekly hydrotherapy. I submitted the receipts expecting to get the run around. Instead...two weeks later a check showed up in my mailbox! Healthy Paws' easy process and expedience made a stressful experience so much easier, and cheaper too.

They misrepresent that they process claims in 10 days. It has been over a month and my claim just got processed (denied) because of insufficient medical records. My vet assured me that his entire file was delivered so it seems like a scam denial. I will try literally anyone else at this point.

Once more, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has lived up to its promise of being efficient and taking care of claims in a very timely manner. Not to mention concerned and understanding. For a second time (and hopefully last!) my boy dog, Bogie swallowed an item that got firmly logged in his stomach. 2nd expensive surgery in 2 years had to be performed!!! Healthy Paws was again with us all the way with their support and making my life easier and worry free. Claim was taken care of right away and Bogie is back to his old mischievous ways (only this time he has to wear a muzzle on our walks! If you are looking for a 100% trustworthy pet insurance that is at your side whenever needed, Healthy Paws is the one and only choice in my book!

Have had Healthy Paws Insurance for a little over two years. My Dog Star just had two major surgeries within a three month period. I submitted my claims and was reimbursed quickly by Healthy Paws. I called them last year for an explanation of a very small claim and the person I spoke to was so kind and helpful. I am so happy to have them insuring my dog’s health! Am planning to get another dog (cuz you have to have two!) and will insure him too.

This pace has been billing me for two months with out accepting my requests to cancel. I’ve called the Philippines two times. They are not based in USA! No direct phone number or mailing address. I’ve filed claim with WA State Attorney General. Fraud... stay away.
