Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am so grateful for this insurance company and the coverage they've provided to us since I adopted my dog in September 2017. Since then, she's been through heartworm treatment, then developed digestive issues that have turned out to be inflammatory bowel disease. Because of our policy, I have never had to worry about getting emergency care or tests/lab work done on my baby. I recommend this to all pets parent's I meet.

If I could give this company a zero I would . My dog got into a fight and I sent my claim in with detailed notes and charges from the vet in September 2019. I waited 2 months and got no response . I called in November and they said not enough notes I would have to appeal . This time I had the vet tech send it in , now to the appeals board and I haven’t heard from them . Now I have been on hold for 25 minutes waiting to hear back on my appeal . They really don’t want to pay for your claims . I would never recommend this company

I highly encourage all pet parents to get health insurance through Healthy Paws. The customer service is great and they have covered multiple vet bills amounting to thousands of dollars for my dog who suffers from severe allergies. Its been a tough process figuring out how to help her get better but Healthy Paws has definitely made it a much easier one financially which let me focus on getting her the best medical help possible. My dog is in the early stages of her allergy immunotherapy but hopefully within the next couple of months the treatment will begin to pay off. Until then I know that this company will continue to help me tremendously.

We got this insurance when our dogs were just puppies. We have had to use it for allergies in one dog and a emergency in another. They have always been great at reimbursement and our claims have always been handled in a timely manner.

When my dog, Joy, had serious stomach issues, I did not have to worry about how much it will cost because of Healthy Paws. They processed my claim in 2 days and on the 3rd the reimbursement was in my account. I definitely recommend then for the fast and friendly service and the peace of mind I have knowing that my dog is covered by them!
