Healthy Paws Pet Insurance review Healthypaws has been a lifesaver this past year for my 4 year old Golden Retriever. I noticed her on and off limping for a while, and eventually after seeing a few vets, learned she had a torn ACL. The surgery was estimated to cost $4,800, along with the costs of all of the pre-work and post therapy. Healthypaws was prompt at responding to each claim leading up to the surgery, which gave me confidence that the surgery bill was not going to be issue. My large claim was processed within 2 days of submitting, and I have since received personal follow up emails checking in on her recovery. The app made it super easy to submit the claim, as well - took about 2 minutes total. Through all of the stress of the surgery itself, it's been a huge relief to not have to worry about the potential debt the procedure could have put me in if it wasn't for Healthpaws. HORRIBLE. My dog has allergies. In Florida my rate was $38 / month. I moved to North Carolina and they doubled my rate YET A NEW CUSTOMER IN THE SAME CITY WOULD PAY $38. Although they pay claims fast, they are a scam .... funny but the 'new jacked up rate' is how much my meds cost for the dog. My advice DON'T USE.....unless you never plan to move from your home.

I'm very pleased with Healthy Paws Insurance. They quickly review bill after submitted and quick to reimburse. They take the time to ask how my pet was doing after his surgery. Very thoughtful ❣️. My vet had asked me about this insurance and I gave them a two thumbs up. They are going to refer Healthy Paw's to more of their clients.

Apparently my cat is too old to insure. Would not even generate a quote. What crap!

We had a wonderful experience with HealthyPaws. Our dog George had emergency bowel obstruction surgery, which was very expensive. Even though we'd been paying the HealthyPaws premiums faithfully for a year, I had heard horror stories from friends whose pet insurance had found loopholes to get out of paying at the last minute so I was still concerned. But I shouldn't have been! Submitting the claim was really easy and I had the reimbursement check in hand very quickly afterwards. We are so grateful that HealthyPaws was there for us when we needed it and I recommend them to all my friends now.
