Healthy Paws is the Best!

I adopted my beloved Poodle Bear when he was 9 years old. I was able to get a plan with Healthy Paws for 70% coverage. Bear is now 14.8 months and I'm so grateful I have Healthy Paws. Bear had 2 surgeries this past month and Healthy Paws covered 70% . It's so nice to not have to worry when I go to the Vet about cost. I can do what's best for my pet with peace of mind. Bear is doing great thanks to Healthy Paws! They also cover his aftercare, accupuncture! Thank you Healthy Paws!

The staff at Healthy Paws Just do everything right. Attentive, Swift with reimbursements, caring, always following up to make sure your pet is doing well. Very thankful to have their coverage. Emma has had more incidents than I care to mention...she’s always get into something and nice to know Healthy Paws has our back.

Worth every penny -- and more.

I don't normally write reviews, but I will for this because Healthy Paws has helped me take excellent care of my girl. She's had a cancerous tumor that needed to be removed and numerous other procedures and meds for IBD and other random things, and the entire process has been simple, efficient, and straightforward. They respond to emails in record time and process claims within days. It feels great knowing that I can get the best care for my girl.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the BEST decision I’ve made as a pet owner!

It is such a relief to know that when your pet gets sick, even to the point of being hospitalized overnight, you don’t have to worry about the unexpected expense when you have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I filed a claim on a Friday, received confirmation on Monday that the claim was complete and a check was being issued. Within a week of filing the claim, the check was already in my hands. Our baby girl is doing great thanks to Healthy Paws and the peace of mind it gives us. Thank you Healthy Paws!

Great company and phone app is super user friendly!

I signed up for Healthy Paws Pet insurance as soon as we adopted our dog in 2016. The online website and phone app are super easy to use. This company is great about showing and tracking the process of your claim and reimbursement is quick.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
