Easy claim process and quick reimbursement
We have used Healthy Paws for close to 4 years now since we have gotten our pup. Throughout the years we have had zero issues with claims and were always reimbursed in a timely manner. They were extremely helpful with processing a claim when our dog had a costly accident and we received our payment within 10 days of submission. They even contacted us two weeks later to make sure that our pup was doing well after his surgery. Highly recommend, will always use them in the future.

Excellent claims process
I insured with Health Paws the day after bringing my pup home. She has had two very expensive emergency surgeries due to abdominal blockages. Healthy Paws was a life saver. The claim process was fast and efficient.

Saved our lives several times
I’ve had to visit the Vet ER several times within the past year and a half that I’ve had my dog. He loves eating things he isn’t supposed to (socks, underwear, paper, pencils) and luckily he hasn’t required surgery, but does require a lot of imaging and medication. Thanks to HealthyPaws, I am not afraid of running him to the ER whenever I feel the need!
Their process is fast and easy, thanks to the APP!

Easiest Claim Process
Our puppy recently required surgery to remove an obstruction. I contacted Healthy Paws from our vets office prior to surgery to ensure that this was covered and the customer service rep answered my questions quickly and completely in what was a high stress situation for our family. Filing a claim upon completion of the procedure couldn’t have been easier — upload your invoice and make sure they have your vet records, and the claim was processed in just a few days. This took all the financial stress out of our decision and I cannot speak highly enough about Healthy Paws. We are so thankful that we had this policy in place!
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
