Great Pet Insurance ! Wort

This is my first time getting pet insurance although this is the third dog that I have owned. I was always apprehensive about its worth ( now I'll never be without it ). After getting my new puppy I researched the various insurance companies. I then went with Embrace. I have had a few claims , they are always handled quickly. My last claim was settled in 8 days which is great. The customer service staff is always helpful and courteous. I am very happy with Embrace so far and I recommend this company without reservation.

Must Have!

We were blessed to get our 9 yr old English Bulldog, Phoenix 4 1/2 yrs ago.Her previous owner had only one requirement, pet insurance. Thank goodness we did! It's amazing when you talk to pet owners they are surprised at how affordable the premiums are. As long as we are pet owners we will have pet insurance!

Flexible policies and speedy reimbursement

I have both of my dogs insured through Embrace. I like the way that you are able to customize the policies to fit you situation and that they reimburse on the actual cost of the visit, not through a set schedule of procedures. I have not had to use the policy for either dog until recently when my dog developed a UTI and incontinence. I was able to get her proper testing, treatment and follow-up without worrying so much about the cost. Once the deductible was met for the year (there is no deductible per incident), I received a check for their percentage within a couple of weeks.

Embrace Was There When I Needed It

My Golden Retriever Putter, was neutered and I noticed he was scratching quite a bit after. Two weeks later he was operated again for swallowing 3 large rocks. Unfortunately, he was still scratching (which we are still trying to determine). To date I have spent over $5300 and I can't tell you how much easier it is to have the Embrace coverage. I will never own another dog without Embrace insurance. The people are so helpful explaining the claims and anything else you need. I am thinking of expanding for my cat as well.

We took the pup in due to coughing and sent in the claim in case it would amount to more than the innitial visit. Thankfully it did not and Amelia got well from good care and and minimum meds. Thank you for your quick response.Linda

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
