Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace Pet Insurance is a way to put those unexpected expenses to rest. The policies are easy to understand and claims are paid promptly. My advice is to buy pet insurance when you don't need it and to ask your vet about the types of expenses you will occur with your pet.

Embrace was very prompt in both issuing a claim check and handling a cancellation for my recently deceased friend, CG. She stopped eating and being her perky self. After an expensive procedure to diagnose the issue, Embrace covered 75% of the bill which helped a lot. It turned out to be pancreatic cancer and CG went to kitty heaven a few weeks later. Embrace was very understanding and caring when I told them about CG and handled the administration quickly. In addition, the customer care team sent a very nice card and made a gift to www.irememberyou.org in CG's memory. My wife, Mary, and I want to thank the entire staff at Embrace, and especially Christy, who works for both Embrace and our Vet, and handles our paperwork. Embrace has been fantastic company, and exactly what we read and anticipated after doing our research. Looked at over a half dozen pet insurance companies and found embrace to clearly be the best based on price, policy flexibility, cap limits, overall coverage, and customer reviews. Unfortunately one of our cats developed cancer, and projected costs were in 8-12k range, with no guarantee the treatment would be successful, we would not have been able to afford the treatment without our policy. It's likely we would have had the very difficult decision on wether to put Dublin down or let the cancer do it. But we were able to go with the treatment, and by all accounts it was 100% successful, and he is back to his old self. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional, empathetic, and very supportive. Initial claim took a bit long, but the next ones were all under two weeks. We would highly recommend investing in an Embrace policy for your pet. It will provide great peace of mind...and if it unfortunately comes to it, grant you the luxury not to have to make a very very difficult decision. Todd T

Our pet Floyd has had Embrace insurance since he was a puppy for 4 years now. From his wellness claims to more serious health situations, Embrace has been incredibly responsive in processing his claims, sending reimbursement and at some times explaining why the claim is not covered. Our family is very pleased with Embrace and will continue converage.

My Bernese had ACL surgery and all claims were paid promptly after the deductible was met. Because Embrace pays for "alternative therapies", they have been covering 80% of his hydrotherapy and laser treatments, and reimbursed the full price of an electromagnetic loop treatment that was physician prescribed but I use three times a day at home. Sometimes the reimbursement checks arrive even before my next visit! The clinic finds the forms easy to fill out and we are all very pleased with Embrace.
