Exceptional Customer Service

The customer service I have experienced working with the 'embracers' at Embrace, I feel very happy about the choice I made selecting Embrace for our girls. After researching 3-4 pet insurance options, I found that Embrace provided the most transparent information about their policy, and their customer service has been exceptional - knowledgeable, personable, and professional.

Eating stones

Our Aussie, 7 months old, had started eating stones. We did not realize this until one lodged in her stomach. After two visits to the vet, X-rays, barium and a good talking-to, she is now as chipper as ever. Having Embrace insurance took the monetary worry out of the crisis and enabled us to concentrate on the dog. Thank you Embrace.

We love Embrace Pet Insurance!

When my best friend is sick and needs to see the vet, the only thing I want to think about is making sure he whatever he needs to get him back to his old self. It's stressful enough as it is so not having to worry abouy whether I can afford to give him the best of care means everything to me. Embrace has always been wonderful with approving his claims and reimbursing me promptly. The monthly premium is very reasonable and the insurance has saved me thousands.

First Claim Went Well

Was feeling anxious over first claim, knowing how convoluted the claims process can be for human insurance but the Embrace team made it super easy and stress free. Also, they seem to genuinely care and they consistently offered their help and assistance when I had questions.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
