Quick, friendly, awesome service

We got insurance after moving to the east coast and before we got set up with a new vet with new sets of shots etc, we decided it would be best (and made the most sense) to get pet insurance with Embrace. I would definitely recommend purchasing the wellness plan--it has paid off for us and we plan on using it when our dog gets spayed. Awesome and speedy customer service and filling out and sending in a claim is so easy and painless-the vet office can even handle filling it out and faxing it for you.

Chronic diarrhea

My terrier chi mix was having severe diarrhea. After ultrasounds, labs, and a colonoscopy he was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. He is now on mess and embrace has covered it all. I'm so happy I chose this insurance for all my dogs.

If you love your pet, buy this insurance

I was a little chagrinned with the proposed 2016 rate increase for my (now) 2 year old Lab. Then she developed an abscess from a foxtail and I ended up with almost $800 in vet bills. I was then amazed at the speed and efficiency of how Embrace handled the claim. I had their check within a week with NO fuss or questions asked. I couldn't be happier with this insurance. I wish I could get as good a plan for myself. I've advised the Vet and staff at Big Bear Lake VCA of this excellent plan. I got this insurance because Consumer Reports has consistently given it their highest ranking and now I can see why.

Excellent in every way!

I cannot imagine what we would have done without Embrace over the past few months. We found a rare mass in my 8 year old lab's heart and had to begin chemo among other treatments suddenly. Embrace helped ease the great financial burden so we could focus our energy on loving and taking care of our Belle. Everyone from the customer service reps on the phone at Embrace to the claims department has been fabulous to work with. The staff is so compassionate as well as helpful. The website is very user-friendly. I am so thankful for Embrace!!

Pretty awesome

My claims were processed promptly & I was kept informed of the status. Got my reimbursement checks within a couple of weeks. Embrace does an amazing job, very pleased.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
