Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

This is our first experience with pet insurance. I signed our dog up when we adopted her at a year old. She is now almost four and developed melanoma. I went to all the doctor appointments and did what I normally would have done even if I didn't have insurance. I was skeptical that they would pay what they said but I sent in the invoices anyway. Lo and behold, they paid their portion after our deductible and copay was met! I was pleasantly suprised! I have been recommending them even before I had to file a claim because they were so responsive to my questions when we signed up. Now I will recommend them full heartedly with no hesitation. Every time I call Embrace customer service I love having a pleasant friendly person on the other end of the phone. I really value and appreciate customer service as well as a no hassle insurance company that you can understand the process. I submitted the documents online and it couldn't have been more easy. I called to set up the direct deposit and they sent an email making sure I received the deposit in my account. What other company do you know that follows up with you to make sure you get your money? None that I know. I am very happy with Embrace.

I've simply had the best experience with the folks who work at embrace. I'm new to the whole pet insurance thing, and their system and website is so streamlined, simple, and clear. I wanted to make sure my dog was covered, but the last thing I wanted was one more hassle to deal with. Embrace is the opposite of that. And whenever I've had one of my many questions about how things work and how to navigate the system, I've spoken directly with a very helpful, friendly person. They also answer emails almost immediately.

I have had Embrace for almost two years now since we got our little puppy Sofia. Honestly at first I was a little antagonistic about getting pet insurance for a puppy. Recently our little Sofia had 6 bladder stones and the surgery was pretty expensive. Thanks to Embrace I recovered about 50% of my cost and Sofia is fine now.

Embrace has been a lifesaver this year for my Bernese Mt. Dog, who has had a variety of post ACL surgery treatments to help his stiffness and arthritis. They continue to make it very easy for my vets to submit claims, and the turn around for reimbursement is very quick - always less than 2 weeks. I'm very pleased with Embrace and have referred others to them.

I could have never anticipated how much I needed Embrace pet insurance, but a year after I adopted my dog he suffered a severe seizure. His care and medicine cost over 8 thousand dollars. I submitted claims to Embrace, and was pleasantly surprised to be reimbursed 4 thousand dollars. I could not be more grateful for the insurance. Claims were processed promptly and communication has been excellent. I highly recommend Embrace to all pet owners!
