Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We have many pets, and put off buying pet insurance for years because it seemed so overwhelming. When it came time to make a decision, the people at Embrace were very patient answering all of our questions. We decided to purchase insurance with Embrace, and have been pleased with their customer service. Recently one of our cats had an emergency situation with a blocked urethra and required several nights stay in the ER as well as daytime care at the vets office. At the same time one of other cats hurt his paw. All of our claims were processed efficiently and timely!

I wish that I hadn't had to file some claims, but that is what the policy is there for.Eventually, all pet owners face a crisis with their animals and sometimes waiting even twelve hours can make a difference in the outcome. I did not hesitate knowing that I had a policy in place with no preexisting conditions. One little glitch, but quickly and easily corrected with one phone call to the company representative. Checks were quickly mailed out and it will help with the overall veterinary bill. I really didn't know if Embrace would out since this was my first claim in five years. I have had poor experiences with another insurance company, but I am so glad that I went with Embrace back in 2010. Please pay attention to the fine print like deductibles and exclusions when looking at different insurance products.

My dog has recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I am so glad i have pet insurance, or i probably would have had to put my dog (who is my life) to sleep. I have to take her in weekly ($50-$60 a visit, and i live paycheck to paycheck), until they figure out how much insulin my dog needs every day. It is sooo frustrating.I appreciate that embrace allows me to take a picture of my claim and e-mail it to them, right from my phone. That is all i have to do. I then get a follow up with all claims. Thank you embrace! I wouldnt have my dog anymore, if it weren't for you!

Brandy, my beagle and my heart, was diagnosed with splenic cancer. So far, Embrace has paid for blood tests, surgery, and post-op care. Next is chemo and expect the same compassionate and speedy respondence.

Monte, our Golden Retriever has unfortunately endured a lot in his two years, from knee surgery, to plate removal due to irritation, skin problems, and allergic reactions. Embrace has been excellent in receiving and processing all of the claims very quickly. They have even checked to see if I have received my claim payments! I am impressed with this company, it was the best decision to make when Monte was a puppy. It gives us piece of mind knowing that we can take him to the vet when anything out of the ordinary is going on with him. Everything has been covered without issue. Our vet faxes in the claim for us and we have a reimbursement check in a couple of weeks. I love that you can view the progress of claims online.
