Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

In August we adopted a 4 year old dachshund - Oops (yep, that's her name). She had not been spayed as she had been a show dog in her previous life. We did our research and decided to get her enrolled with Embrace and this past January we brought her in for a routine spay - which turned out to be anything but routine. One week after the procedure she started to develop all kinds of scary symptoms (throwing up blood) and ended up having to have a 2nd emergency surgery that resulted in yet other scary symptoms. We were fortunate to have excellent medical care and slowly but surely, our little one began to recover (as did her parents). She is her feisty, funny self once again. We racked up some serious medical bills and weren't sure how Embrace would handle everything especially as we had only recently signed on to the policy. We were totally impressed. They did everything they said they would do and did so with such kindness and caring (they even sent a email checking in on Oops....not a form email but a personal email). Our only hope is that we won't have to use them again for a long, long time! This is an excellent company and we feel blessed on so many levels. Thank you Embrace!

This experience was really bad. My claim was deined at first because there was not enough medical history. Then it was denied because the services rendered were before the beginning of my coverage period, which was NOT TRUE since I received reimbursement for a claim just 4 months prior to that. Not sure if this is because it's a new business or if it's another case of insurance companies simply wanting to receive money but not send any out of they can help it. I really expected better from a company calling itself "EMBRACE". I have absolutely not felt embraced.

We LOVE Embrace! They have always been there for us and we tell everyone we know about them. When our Rosie was 2 or 3 years old, we discovered she needed knee surgery, on BOTH knees! It was going to cost $9500 for the surgeries but without them, walking would be a really painful thing for her to do. She had a lot of years ahead of her so we were willing to do what it took to help her. At the end of the whole thing, Embrace covered 80% of both surgeries! We were so relieved and thankful we chose Embrace and have been loyal ever since.

I have had other insurance in the past for my German Shepherd Dogs but this is the best. From sign on to submitting claims to their great customer service they are wonderful

My dog Spartan was recently diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. This was one of the most heartbreaking experiences for me as Spartan is my soul dog. Embrace was incredibly helpful to me in getting his health information sorted out - they made phone calls to a vet that was very hard for me to get in touch with. They were always incredibly helpful to me and very sympathetic to my situation. In the end they covered all of my sweet boys procedures and I have 100% confidence that we are covered for life! I recommend this insurance company to everyone!
