My vet faxes the claims but many times Embrace does not seem to receive them. Recently they faxed 2 claims (separate dates). Embrace responded with one claim number so I wrote back and questioned the vet and also questioned Embrace as to whether they had indeed received both claims. Embrace assured me they had and then I received a response for only one claim. I had to contact Embrace again for the second claim and ask my vet to refax the 2nd invoice again. This has happened repeatedly in the past. My vet is very efficient. I love Embrace insurance and am usually very happy with the service but I would like to see this communication improved.

This company takes your premium and and then after you go to a vet the first time they investigate the health of your dog. my dog had an issue for diarhea beginng in Aug. my dog had this happen two times in her 7 years. they claim it was a preexisting condtion. they also said there was a lot of them and MAYBE THEY WILL REINSTATE AFTER 6 MONTHS.they also took a refund for vet services and put it my deductable. there many people complaining about copany. check you better business beauro

Hi, I am Thelma, a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel. I am thankful my mommy and daddy got Embrace for me because I now have fresh breath, the antibiotic treatment prevented needing any extractions, and I am skin tag free. I look and smell FAB. I am a bit large and in charge, but Embrace assures me this is temporary and they are even helping with my diet. I have lost 3 pounds. Forms and reimbursement are simple and fast since North Penn Vet helps us with the process. And now, my brother Newman's review.
Mom and dad got smarter over the years. Unfortunately, I a mix breed and 13 years old, too old for full coverage. But fortunately, mom and dad love me so much thay do not mind paying for whatever I need. Embrace Wellness helps, too. Although, Embrace was purchased too late for an old dog like me to have Embrace cover the recent cyst removal or my 2X daily insulin shots and eye drops, arthritis supplements, cataract surgery or lens implant; Embrace fully explained and we expected these things not to be covered by Embrace when we joined. Embrace did pay to clean and extract teeth on an old dog like me. Deciding to do both the cyst removal and teeth at the same time made the process so much easier. My parents would not put an old dog like me under anesthesia, just for a teeth cleaning, for fear it would be too risky. But the cyst had to come off so the Wellness part of Embrace made it easy to decide to do the teeth while the cyst was removed. Now my organs are protected from infection via tooth and gum disease. I am looking mighty fine without that cyst, my breath is great. I am glad I have a mommy and daddy who love me and got wiser with age so they got Embrace for Thelma while she was still so young.

Our dog ate a stick that became lodged in her esophagus. Fortunately there was no perforation. She required upper endoscopy to assess the damage and has recovered very well. Embrace Insurance reviewed my claims promptly and reimbursed me for the portion of expenses according to our policy. As a retired physician I could only wish that the multitude of insurance companies I dealt with for my own patients would have been as prompt and responsive as Embrace was for us. Simply put---Embrace did a great job!
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
